Water Treatment Effective June 18, 2024

Hi Summerside,

A lake water treatment is scheduled for today, Tuesday June 18, 2024. The water treatment will be done under the guidance of our contracted professional biologists at Aquality Environmental.

Out of an abundance of caution, the SSRA will be temporarily prohibiting access to the water for 24 hours following the treatment.

Due to the water treatment, we are changing our flags to RED🚩for the treatment

As indicated in the information about our flag system, which can be found on our website, red flags mean the following: Known increased risk of using the lake. Lake access is PROHIBITED for ALL USERS.

Please check our website for confirmation that the water is open before entering again in case of any unexpected delays. Do not enter the water until it is announced as open.
