Temporary rink closure
Hi residents!
With all this warm weather coming at us this weekend, in an effort to preserve our lake ice surfaces we are temporarily closing them from Friday March 12th – Sunday March 14th. We will continue to monitor and maintain the rinks as best we can as we anticipate to reopen on Monday March 15th!
Based off our recent ice measurements, the lake ice still remains safe for foot traffic and ice fishing. However, we’re at the mercy of the weather and to ensure everyone’s safety, please be sure to use extreme caution and look out for any large cracks and water on the ice. Cracks can happen at any time and cause weakness, especially in warmer temperatures! If you see water seeping out of a crack, please leave the ice and inform our staff immediately. Stay tuned for any updates.
