Guest Access Changes
Hi Summerside!
We would like to announce that, as of today, July 27th 2021, we will be taking another step forward into the easing of our restrictions in our park. Details of the changes can be found below. These changes are effective Saturday July 31st.
GUEST ACCESS AND CAPACITY
Starting this weekend, there will no longer be restrictions on guest access! Each household will be able to bring in up to a maximum of 5 non-resident guests as walk ups and without prior booking.
In order to offer a quieter time for those who continue to find this important, the capacity will remain at 350 people until 1:00 PM, then after 1:00 PM park capacity will increase to 500 until 9:30pm. Park access will continue on a first come first serve basis. If you are curious about the current entry status related to capacity, you can call the gatehouse at 780-756-6772.
TENT RENTALS AND OUTDOOR BOOKINGS
We are not taking any tent rentals or outdoor bookings for the remainder of the Summer season.
As representatives of the community, our Board of Directors care about your thoughts and opinions. If you have any feedback, please email manager@lakesummerside.ca. That feedback will be shared with the Board of Directors who meet regularly, and used to help guide future policy decisions.
*Please note that we may have to alter and adjust specifics of our operating plan if public health orders change, or new information is provided to us.
