Beach Club Summer Update

Hey Summerside! We are very excited to announce that Entry Park will be opening and our watercrafts will be available for rent – starting this Saturday, May 21, 2022!

Bookings are not required when renting out boats, all you need is your physical membership card! If you need a new one, head over to our main office during office hours. As we are kicking off this summer season we will also be extending our hours!

Monday-Sunday, Stat 9:00 am – 10:00 pm

•Entry Park Hours:
Monday-Sunday, Stat 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

•Boat Rental Hours:
Monday-Sunday & Stat 11:00am – 9:00pm

A friendly reminder that our little gilled friends have arrived this week! For our first stock of the year, we added approximately 2000 trout into Lake Summerside! This includes 8-10″ Rainbow Trout, 8-12″ Brook Trout, and introducing 8-10″ Tiger Trout!

With this stocking, our catch and release policy with all fish, (with the exception of perch) is in effect starting now until May 26th. As Tiger Trout are branded as the more aggressive trout, they will potentially help with our invasive fish species: Perch. Therefore, after May 26th, Tiger Trout will remain the only fish that must be catch and release until further notice, as they have been stocked in a very limited amount. Tiger Trouts are a hybrid fish of Brook & Brown trout marking them easily distinguished from the other trout by their vibrant colours and unique markings.

Please note that there are 2 designated fishing areas at the Beach Club – the fishing dock as well as the far cove near the beach volleyball courts. Additionally, the Fishing Agreement and Acknowledge form must be signed every year and prior to fishing. The forms have moved electronically via our website.
